Landscape Irrigation

Landscape irrigation evaluations are a great way to determine your outdoor watering needs. Through an evaluation, you can create a watering schedule tailored to your landscape and learn how to use your automatic sprinkler system controls to better manage the water-saving schedule. Check with your local water provider to see if they offer evaluations.

If your utility does not provide this service, ask your licensed irrigator who maintains your system to conduct an evaluation. If your licensed irrigator is not familiar with how to conduct an evaluation, have him or her consider taking a training class from the Texas Agrilife Extension.

Finally, you can also conduct a "do it yourself" audit.
